Flamingo Family Beach Club Opens on Saba Beach, North of Sanur, Bali
Beritadewata.com reports the opening of Bali’s newest beach venue The Flamingo Bali Family Beach Club, managed by The Bali Zoo took place on Saturday, January 12, 2019.
The Flamingo Family Beach Club is located in Saba Village, Blahbatu, Gianyar and has been designed for kids-centered family fun.
Occupying a modest 1,500 meter site, the club boasts an adult pool, a children’s pool, a children’s playground, a restaurant capable of serving 65 diners, a topical garden, and a collection of photo-spots designed for Instagram sharing.
Set a black volcanic-sand beach, The Flamingo Family Beach Club provides views across the ocean to a horizon that is home to Nusa Penida Island and Gunung Rinjani on Lombok. Special child-focused activities will be presented each weekend, such a painting, butterfly release and kite-making.
The Beach Club was designed by The Bali Zoo. In keeping with its name, a collection of Pink African Flamingos will be introduced to the club in March 2019. Not surprisingly, the dominate color scheme at the Park is pink and turquoise. Meanwhile, family friendly affordable comfort food populates a menu that includes Flamingo Pizza, Saba Burger, and Chocolate Kraken with adult beverages and children’s’ mocktails available from the bar.
We have it on good authority that no Flamingoes were injured in the making of the Club's pizzas.
Emma Chandra the public relations spokesperson for the Bali Zoo and the Beach Club said: “The Flamingo Bali Family Beach Club is the first beach club of its kind in Bali that is family friendly, combining the concepts of play and study utilizing exotic species such as the Pink Flamingo, butterflies and other unique inspects. Families can spend a day relaxing by the ocean-side pool while learning about the natural world.”
The Flamingo Family Beach Club is open daily from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm at an admission cost of Rp. 100,000 per person allowing access to the pools, beanbag chairs, and playground. The ticket cost can be applied against food and beverage costs.
Sunbeds can be rented for Rp. 200,000 and cabana from Rp. 500,000.
