President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is said to be carefully studying a written response to the revelation of electronic surveillance of the Indonesian leaders sent by Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott.
The explanation arrived from Australia on Saturday, November 23, 2013, during the course of a five-day working visit by the Indonesian President to Bali.
Indonesian Presidential Spokesman Julian Aldrin Pasha told the State News Agency Antara that Yudhoyono was carefully reviewing Abbott’s response.
Pasha said the Indonesian Foreign Minister relayed Abbott’s letter on Saturday, November 23, 2013.
A Presidential Advisor on International Affairs, Teuku Faizasyah, also confirmed that the Indonesian President was reviewing Abbott’s response.
