Wisnu Tjandra, a director of the powerful Artha Graha Group whose holdings include the Hotel Borobudur in Jakarta and the Discovery Kartika Plaza in Bali, remains missing a month after his disappearance was first reported to police.
The Jakarta Globe reports the police have no clue on Wisnu’s whereabouts.
A police spokesman said: “We have issued the announcement, detailing his profile, spreading them to West Java and Central Java. Hopefully people will see them. Those who has ever seen him or may know his location, please contact the number [on the announcement].”
Wisnu has been missing since May 11 when he was last seen leaving his house destined for his office on Jalan Sudirman in Jakarta driving a Toyota sedan. Reports have him spending the entire day at the office, leaving at 10:00 pm.
Wisnu has worked for Artha Graha since 1989 and was promoted to be a director of Jakarta International Hotels & Development in 2012 that operates a number of hotels in Bali and Jakarta.
The company is listed on the Indonesian stock exchange and is seeking to build a bridge connection between Java and Sumatra and a 105-story building in downtown Jakarta.
