A fire at a traditional market in Banjar Gede, Kerobokan, North Kuta on Sunday, June 15, 2014 resulted in at least 20 small trading kiosks and their content's destruction.
The exact cause of the blaze remains a mystery, but fire officials believe the fire was started by a short circuit.
According to NusaBali the total damage caused by the fire is put at Rp. 1.5 billion (US$130,00).
The fire started at 7:00 pm and quickly spread to other parts of the market in the eastern block of shops before being brought under control by firefighters at about 8:30 pm.
No casualties were reported in connection with the fire.
