Mild Earthquake Off Southeast Coast of Bali on Thursday, July 24, 2014

Bali experienced a moderate earthquake measured at 4.3 on the Richter scale at 10:49 pm on Thursday evening, July 24, 2014.
Information received from the Meteorological, Climate and Geophysics Bureau (BMKG) shortly after the earthquake, dismissed any risk of tsunami.
BMKG identified the epicenter of the quake at 61 kilometers southeast of Kuta Beach at a depth of 73 kilometers.
Mild shaking of short duration was reported on the social network in Nusa Dua and Kuta, but there were no confirmed report of property damage or injuries linked to the episode.
