Police have publicly promised to complete and submit to Bali prosecutors the complete files for the 14 suspects charged with October 12th bombing of two Kuta nightspots.
Once the complete evidence files are in the hands of prosecutors the trials could conceivably be scheduled to commence within several weeks.
Of the 14 now awaiting trial in Bali, Ali Ghufron and Iman Samudra are facing the prospect of life imprisonment or execution should they be declared guilty. The remaining 12 defendants are liable to punishments of between four and twenty years.
