The Oriental, Bali's first dinner cabaret theatre has opened in the Legian area of Bali in a venue custom-built to provide excellent dining and an international standard evening of non-stop musical entertainment.
Able to accommodate up to 300 guests, The Oriental's point of focus is a 250 square meter stage able to accommodate a production crew of actors, dancers and technicians totaling more than 30. State of the art sound and lighting, fast moving set changes, and actors wearing some 200 costumes present a two hour cavalcade of sights and sounds not soon to be forgotten.
The nightspots opening show, Wonder World visits Europe, the Pacific, Asia, Africa, South America and the U.S.A. in the company of a soundtrack evoking, among others, Strauss, the Beach Boys, Marilyn Monroe, Julie London, Madona, Whitney Houston, and Ricky Martin. Diners get transported through an evening long party with stops at a Parisian Night Club; an underwater adventure; an Indian harem; a visit with Sherazade and her lovely sisters; Las Vegas; Carnivale in Rio; and the occasional cannibal thrown in for good measure.
Door open for dinner from 1900-2030 hours each night followed by the cabaret performance ending at 2245 hours.
