After 7 years as the General Manager of the Jayakarta Resort and 13 year in Indonesia, Chris MacLean has tendered his resignation in order to accept the general manager's posting with The Davis - a new business hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.
Active and respected in Bali with numerous involvements in the community and professional tourism associations, Chris has served as the Chairman of the Casa Grande - the association of starred hotels in Bali.
Chris has 28 years in the hotel industry, 23 of which are in Asia working in Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore, China and Indonesia. Prior to joining the Jayakarta Resort, he served with Choice Hotels and Bali's Clarion Suites named that group's International Hotel of the Year in 1995 inder his management.
Chris and his family will depart Bali on May 30, 2003.
