P.T. Coca-Cola Distribusi Indonesia, the Indonesian distributors of Coca-Cola products, will be giving away 8.5 million samples of their product between May and August 10, 2003, to the public in Bali, West Nusa Tenggara, Java, Kalimantan and Sulawesi.
Citing the marketing effort as unprecedented in Coca-Cola's long history in Indonesia, in addition to millions of product samples on offer for free - 24,000 people with prize-winning bottle tops will be instant winners of Rp. 100,000 prizes (approximately US$ 11.90); 75,000 will win wrist watches; and 100,000 will win musical compilation albums.
The prizes will be available to consumers of any of three Coca-Cola products including Coca-Cola, Sprite and Fanta.
Through August 10, holidays in Bali will "go better" with Coca-Cola.
