Formed in the early 1980's on the Isle of Wight, Level 42 was originally comprised of brothers Phil and Boon Gould who respectively played drums and guitar, vocalist and bassist Mark King, and keyboard player Mark Lindup. Over the years personnel have changed and the band membership has grown to 5 outstanding musicians, still fronted by their trademark vocalist Mark King.

Now, two decades on, Level 42 still pack venues with fans coming to hear their distinctive jazz and funk music stylings.

Among the group's 14 albums that have sold millions of copies worldwide are the hits Leaving Me Now, Love Game, Something About You and a departure into disco-funk Lessons in Love.

Admired by fans and critics everywhere, the groups' true virtuosity is only evident in their live concert appearances where their controlled power and unbound inventiveness are given full reign.

Forget the advance men and image makers with these guys, the only thing slick about Level 42 is their music, served up in doses pure and strong.

One Night Only at the Hard Rock Hotel

Level 42 will appear for one night only on June 21, 2003 appearing on the hotel's Sand Island. The show starts at 5 p.m. with tickets costing only Rp. 25,000. Ė (approximately US$2.95) each!

Tickets go on sale at the Hard Rock Hotel's Guest Relations Desk starting from June 14, 2003.

Indonesian Tour

Level 42 is undertaking a brief Indonesian visit in the course of their current World Tour playing in Jakarta on June 17th, Bandung on June 18th, Yogyakarta on June 19th, Surabaya on June 20th, and concluding with the Bali appearance at the Hard Rock Hotel on June 21st.
