Ritz Carlton Goes Wireless

Visitors staying at The Ritz Carlton, Bali Resort and Spa can now access Bali's first "Wi-Fi Hotspot Service" - a wireless Internet system available throughout the hotel's premises.

The first of its kind in Bali, the innovative Biznet Hotspot technology gives notebook users full Internet access, without cables, from anywhere within the resort. High-speed broadband Internet access connections are available for computer users with Wireless LAN Technology, with access speeds of up to 22 Mbps. The system can be used with any notebooks or PDAs with Wi-Fi enabled cards, available from the hotel, for both Windows and Macintosh operating systems.

Commenting on the new technology, the Resort's General Manager David Wilson said, "Making the latest innovations available to our guests adds value to their stay and gives the resort an added advantage for the business travel and conference market. Response from the outset has been overwhelmingly positive."
