Son of the well-known Balinese painter I Wayan Barwa, Wayan Sila has developed a painting style based on the representation of owls, light and the forest presented in combination with poetry and verse penned by Yoko Miyazaki.
Together Yoko and Wayan Sila have successfully exhibited their work throughout Japan, Spain and other overseas venues.
In an exhibition entitled "Kata – Kata" or "Words', the paintings of Wayan Sila and the poetry of Yoko Miyazaki will be on exhibit at Bali's Maya Ubud Resort and Spa December 15, 2003 until January 15, 2004.
