The Laguna at Nusa Dua Celebrates Chinese Lunar New Year with Banquets and High Teas February 9 – 17, 2018

The Laguna, A Luxury Collection Resort & Spa in Nusa Dua, Bali welcomes in the Lunar New Year of the Earth Dog with a series of prosperous feasts, familial reunion events, and afternoon treats

Prosperity Feasts

The Resort’s signature Banyubiru Buffet Restaurant that is set amidst the Resort expansive lagoon will be the venue for conviviality with family and friends each evening from Friday, February 9, 2018 until Wednesday, February 14, 2018, offering an extensive selection of oriental favorites including Yu Sheng platters, roasted Peking duck, Hong Kong roasted honey Char Siu, authentic Szechuan chicken, wok-fried salted egg prawns, crackling pork belly with hoi sin sauce, an array of dim sum and decadent sweets to complete the night's festivities.

In keeping with the season, live musical performances of Chinese classics will make each evening's celebration of the New Year holiday complete.

The dinner buffet begins each evening from 7:00 pm at the Banyubiru Restaurant is priced at Rp. 588,888 plus 21% tax and service with a 50% discount for children aged 3-12 years.

Grand Reunion Celebration

On Thursday, February 15, 2018 a special Grand Reunion Celebration commences at 6:30 pm with a traditional Lion and Fire Dance at the Cascade Bar. Next, a short walk away to the Banyubiru Restaurant to be welcomed with Bai Jiu Sour before partaking of the New Year’s Eve Grand Buffet starting at 7:00 pm including prosperous Yu Sheng toss, claypot-braised Ba Kut Teh, Hainanese chicken rice, Chinese suckling pig, Teo Chew-style steamed sea bass, crispy roasted pork belly, an extensive dim sum trolley and a Chinese herbal hot pot station.

Live Chinese music will complement the night and enlivens the spirits preparing to welcome in the New Year.

Cost of the evening, including the pre-dinner festivities at the Cascade Bar and Bai Jiu Sour welcome drink, is Rp. 688,888 per person, plus 21% tax and service.

A 50% discount is extended to children aged 3-12 years.

Auspicious Afternoon Tea

The Arnawa Restaurant will offer a Lunar New Year Auspicious Afternoon Tea featuring a three-tier display of and sweet and savory Chinese delicaciespaired with Dilmah teas.

The Auspicious Afternoon Tea is available daily between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm from Friday, February 9, 2018 until Saturday, February 17, 2018 at a cost of Rp. 175,000 per person plus 21% tax and service.
