Celebrating 15 Years of Flying to Bali

To mark 15 years of continuous service to Bali, Continental Airlines have launched efforts on a number of fronts to stimulate heightened interest on travel to the island, including:

• A redesign of the Continental Vacation's Holiday Packages to Bali increasing the range of travel options and offering greater value to their clients. New packages have 3 price levels to choose from: Silver, Gold and Platinum - and include round trip airfare, transfers, accommodation for 3 nights including breakfast and late check out to facilitate the 10 p.m. departure time of their flight from Bali.

• To mark the anniversary, Jon Anderson, host of 'the breakfast show' on K57 Radio broadcasted live from Conrad Bali Resort & Spa to Guam, Saipan and the Marianas islands – the hub of Continental's Asian operations.

The live broadcast took place on Wednesday and Thursday, April 14 and 15, 2004. Guests on the show featured a number of Bali celebrities including Ruth Zuckerman from Conrad Bali Resort & Spa, Steve McMillan from Sobek Adventures, Heinz von Holzen from Bumbu Bali Restaurant and Cooking School, I Pande Nyoman Gede Ardika from Bali Hai Cruises and Jeff Mathews of Mandara Spa.

• On Thursday, April 15, 2004, twelve representatives of the Guam, Saipan and Marianas Islands' media comprised of TV crews, travel writers and newspaper columnists began a 3-day tour of the island.

• During the seven days commencing Thursday, April 22, 2004, twenty travel agents together with Continental's sales and marketing team will visit the island to experience the new holiday packages on offer.

Commenting on the anniversary events, Mr. Eric Kaler, Manager Bali, Continental Airlines told balidiscovery.com he "couldn't be happier that Continental has chosen to support the Bali market so strongly. We expect that saturating our hub market with this level of information on Bali will encourage customers to come back to Bali with a renewed interest and excitement."

Continental Airlines flies between Bali and Guam three times a week on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday offering onward connections to its extensive Micronesian and Asian network and onward services to the USA and Europe.
