Sheraton's Jeremy Brooks Gets National Appointment

Mr. Richard Bussiere, Managing Director of Sheraton Laguna Nusa Dua and Vice President - Managing Director Indonesia for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Indonesia, has announced the promotion of Mr. Jeremy Brook as the Regional Director of Marketing of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Indonesia, effective July 1, 2001.

In this new role, Mr. Brook, a graduate of Manchester University (U.K.), will be responsible for all marketing activities for 10 Sheratons and 1 Westin properties in Indonesia. He will continue to be based in Sheraton Laguna Nusa Dua, Bali, where he has served as Director of Sales since March 2000. Before coming to Bali, he was the Director of Sales & Marketing of Sheraton Grande Laguna Phuket for 2 years.

In confirming the appointment, Mr. Bussiere said, “Jeremy has extensive experience and knowledge of the FIT/Wholesale market with specialization in the area of Europe. I am confident that with Jeremy in his new role, we are adding value and growing market share in each of our properties.”
