Exhibiting his paintings of various locations around Bali, Rudolf Usman's paintings will be on view for the entire month of August 2005 at Maya Ubud Resort and Spa.
Although working primarily in watercolors, Usman does resort to a variety of mediums in his paintings creating atmospheres and nuances in the way different materials interact on his canvasses. The August exhibition will de dedicated exclusive to Bali with paintings of Kintamani, Bedugul, Uluwatu, Pantai Suluban, Desa Sidemen, Jatiluwih, and the nearby island of Nusa Lembongan on display.
A visitor to many countries, Usman finds himself repeatedly drawn back to Bali's natural beauty and a desire to capture nature on the island of the gods in his works.
The exhibition is open daily at the Maya Ubud Resort and Spa throughout the month of August.
