SOBEK recently introduced two popular programs on the Telaga Waja River - aimed especially at reaching out to people working in Bali's tourism sector.
Super Staff Saturday allowed staff members nominated by their companies, the chance to participate in a day of white-water rafting adventure as SOBEK's guests. Over the past several weeks, 92 "Super" staff were hosted to a day on the river.
The second program, dubbed Ramah Tamah or fellowship, adopted a "Pirate Adventure" theme. Travel wholesalers and agents were invited to participate in a series of games and enactments complete with bandannas, eye patches, face paint and loaded water pistols. No buried treasures were discovered by the travel industry professionals on their fun day out, but a memorable day was reportedly had by all.
SOBEK's outreach programs will take a rest during the busy period of September and return in October. For more information on Super Staff Saturdays and Ramah Tamah contact SOBEK via the link below.
