Internationally acclaimed Bali-based Japanese glass sculptor Toirge Seiki will be exhibiting his work at the Galleri Esok Lusa in Seminyak from September 15-30, 2001.
Known for his trademark glass melts, exquisite cobalt-blue pulls, and his chiseled vases and decorative pieces - this will represent the first-ever exhibition of the artist's works. Long established in Bali and working from his studio in Gianyar since 1995, Torige Seiki's pieces are prized parts of important private collections worldwide as well as much sought after to complement corporate offices, hotels, and public buildings everywhere.
Committed to creating new and unusual pieces of art by utilizing revolutionary designs and techniques of manufacture, the Kyoto-born artists gallery is a popular haunt for young art students with whom the Master readily shares his skills and knowledge.
