Primavera Events & Entertainment will once again bring an evening of memorable classical opera to Bali on Friday, March 24, 2006, at the Mercure Resort Sanur.

Say "Love & Peace" – A Charity Concert

Say "Love & Peace" – A Charity Concert with three of Indonesia's most outstanding operatic voices accompanied by an equally celebrated pianist:

Albert Wishnu • Albert Wishnu – Tenor. Born in 1965 in Jogyakarta he has studied voice both privately and at the Indonesian Institute of Arts. A regular winner in the Central Java Radio and Television Vocal Competitions, he has also represented Indonesia aboard performing the Indonesian entry in the Theme Song Contest for Disabled Persons in South Korea. Active as a soloist in concerts and recitals nation-wide, he has recently performed in a contemporary opera Candakirana Raja Bali by Vincent MacDermott and as the featured tenor in Handel's The Messiah. Sought after as a teacher of voice on both a private and workshop level, Wishnu trains church choirs and aspiring popular singers in addition to serving as a professor of voice at two leading universities in his home town.

Kriswanti • Kriswanti – Soprano. Born in Surakarta in 1980, she finished her initial tertiary musical education in Jogyakarta in 1999 before going on to receive special vocal training at the Indonesia Arts Institute from which she graduated in 2004. The winner of several championships at regional Radio and Television Vocal Competitions, she has appeared in the 1st ASEAN International Concerto Competition and as a soloist in various concerts across Indonesia. She works as a vocal coach and examiner with a number of music schools in both Jogyakarta and Jakarta.

Pola Martiana • Pola Martiana – Soprano. A student of voice since her high school days, she pursued her musical education with the Indonesian Institute of Arts. Active as a teacher and a performer, Amrtiana teaches at the Prokuneo Conservatory, the Higher School of Music in Bandung, a high school in Bandung and the Yamaha School. The winner of several musical awards from competitions in Bali, Jogyakarta and Jakarta - she is now pursuing post graduate studies in composition from the Indonesian Institute of Art in Jogyakarta.

Job Rusli • Job Rusli – Piano. Playing the piano from the tender age of 6 years, Rusli eventually honed his talents at the Sydney Conservatory of Music where he completed a degree in orchestral studies before returning to his native Indonesia in 1990. Active as a teacher of piano as well as a performer, in 1997, together with the late Harry Roesli, he composed the score for "Indonesia tjintakoe." He was a guest pianist, together with the famed Catherine Robert, at the UNPAD Concert. Rusli also collaborated with four other leading Indonesian young composers in a performance of the works of the Indonesian musical legend Ismail Marzuki played by pianist Ananda Sukarlan in a performance of ”Reinkarnasi Selendang Sutera” with the Twilite Orchestra.
