Radio Australia has entered into an historic agreement with Radio Republik Indonesia that will bring hourly news bulletins and other Australian radio programs to Bali visitors and residents.
Under the terms of the agreement, Radio Australia - the international service of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) - will be heard on the Radio Republik Indonesia's (RRI) Bali-based station - Paradise FM.
The head of Radio Australia, Jean Gabriel Manguy, says the deal marks a significant development in relations with Indonesia's public broadcaster and builds on a similar agreement Radio Australia has with RRI in Jakarta.
