Russ Coggeshall, An American who Operates of the San Francisco Yacht Club just spent an extended holiday in Bali. Brave traveler or a man who knows when and where to travel? You decide.

Let me express my genuine gratitude to you and your wonderful staff for a truly enchanting 3 weeks on Bali. My requests were handled quickly and professionally ... Now if I can just convince more of my friends to travel to Bali, NOW, don't wait!
It was such a pleasure to visit a place where the people (the Balinese) genuinely like everyone. Not a hint of anti-American feeling there, even after the bombing started while I was there! ... The Balinese love everyone and are the most gracious people, probably on this earth.
Your tours and staff are the most wonderful. I have visited Bali 5 times now. I must say that this was the most interesting and enjoyable. The "different" tours made the difference. I was looking for the unusual Bali and certainly found it! Starting with the Bulan Purnama (Full Moon) ceremony; the Bali X Files, visiting the Baliana and having my Karma read along with palms and whatever, at times chilling!
Being in the food business, the cooking class and visits to the large morning Pasar and Ikan Pasars at Jimbaran Beach were highlights. Cooking with Chef Heinz was a real experience. By the way, his work with the Balinese Turtles and saving them from extinction was an additional highlight ...
Your guides Sudi, Hanafi and Westi were professional and very knowledgeable. Sudi was my main guide and couldn't have done more, anything requested was done! A walking encyclopedia of Balinese history! Same with Westi when it came to the walking tour and his knowledge of herbs, plants, birds, etc. This tour is a natural to go along with the cooking class. Hanafi was also marvelous for the Kuta tour experience ...
This was a vacation that I needed desperately and I am so glad I came ahead and didn't cancel due to the world situation. I know that people who have never been to Indonesia, especially Bali, wouldn't have been as comfortable and I knew I was going to be, but I hope to spread the word that the Balinese welcome everyone and no one should have the slightest worry about coming to Bali.
Obviously I was having a great time, extending an extra week. Also I highly recommend the Komaneka Suites! They and their staff couldn't be nicer. I only hope they will have room when I want to return, because they are going to be immensely popular!
I am seriously going to try and get this small group together from my Yacht Club and will be in touch with you later.
