During a late March 2007 formal tour to Asia that included stops in China, Aceh and Jakarta, Norway’s Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg made a detour with his entourage to Bali to enjoy a few days of relaxation on the world's most popular tropical island.
Traveling with his wife and Norway's Ambassador to Indonesia, Bjorn Blokus, the Head of Norway's Government spent a number of days staying at least 3 hotels in various parts of the Island.
During the Norwegian Prime Minister's holiday stop in Bali he was hosted to a dinner at Jaya Sabha - the official residence of Bali's Governor. During that dinner, the Scandinavian VIPs were treated to a special dance performance by students of Bali's Art's Institute (ISI).
