Bali's internationally famous themed Hard Rock Hotel marked its tenth year of operations by re-launching the substantially refurbished Centerstage Bar. What is arguably Bali's most popular contemporary performance venue has had a massive "make over" replete with new lighting and sound system, floor, stage, bar, furniture and lounge area.
The Centerstage is open daily from 10.00 a.m. – 1.00 a.m. with nightly live Band performance from 8.30 p.m. – 12 midnight by the Hotel's house band or visiting celebrity performers.
Celebrating the "new" Centerstage re-opening, popular Indonesian singer Shanty appeared singing in front of a capacity crowd. Accompanied by Djampiro Band, the well-known Indonesian Diva performed a number of songs, including her hits "O Kasih" from her premiere album. Adding to the evening's merriment were appearances by the X-CITE Band, Javaica Percussion, a dance show, an Oakley Fashion Show, Sparking Body Grinders, Udayana University Marching Band, lucky draws and a grand finale presented by Fire Canon Man and his pyrotechnic show.
