Bali Hotel Bookings Remain Stable
Bali Hotel Association: No Sign of Reduced Booking Levels Linked to Terror Threat.
BeritaBali.com quote the Bali Hotel Association (BHA) as claiming that hotel booking levels remain stable at between 70-80% despite news of the impending execution of the Bali bombers and heightened travel warnings for Australian travelers.
The Executive Director of the BHA, Djinaldi Gosana, said that a slight drop in hotel occupancies in October and November reflects a normal seasonality pattern for Bali Hotels and could not be linked to any perceived threat to security.
Djinaldi told the press that most Bali visitors are aware of the positive security situation in Bali and the standard minimum security system in place among BHA member hotels. Djinaldi said that hotels who fail to implement the standard minimum security system put in place by the Indonesia police are expelled from membership in his Association.
This commitment to a standardized system of security ensure safety and peace of mind for Bali visitors, explained Djinaldi.
