A group of people working in diverse fields and dubbing themselves the "Bali Creative Community" are organizing an inaugural exhibition, showcase and seminar dedicated to the creative process November 29-30, 2008.
To be held at the Sanur Paradise Plaza Hotel and other venues in Bali, the organizers have adopted the theme "Celebrating the Enlightening of Bali Creativity" and declared their intent to promote an awareness of the endemic creative talent, art and culture that exists in Bali. In spotlighting this reservoir of talent, the event aims to help Bali acquire its rightful share of the new global creative economy.
The two-day event will consist of seminars, workshops, and exhibitions involving companies and individuals who have gained international reputations for their creative skills. By focusing on individuals and companies who have put creativity to profitable use, the organizers hope to foster a greater use of creativity in the wider community.

Registration for the event is Rp. 200,000 for a full day’s attendance or only Rp. 100,000 for students. Student admission to an evening program with leading designers is Rp 50,000.
