BaliSpirit Festival Kicks off its 3rd Year in Ubud, Bali, March 31 – April 4, 2010, featuring a wealth of talented and respected creative masters of yoga, dance and music from around the world. The event, centered on the grounds of The Purnati Center for The Arts in Batuan, just 10 minutes south of Ubud, merges the indigenous and rich cultures of Indonesia with east and west in the spirit of learning, collaborating and celebrating creative and spiritual diversity.
A Sampling of Daily Events
Yoga: Yoga Trance Dance (Shiva Rea), Power Yoga (Eion Finn), Prana Flow Yoga (Twee Merrigan), Anusara Yoga (Bridget Woods Kramer), Iyengar (Carole Baillargeon), Yogic Arts (Duncan Wong), Ashtanga Yoga (Danny Paradise), Hatha Yoga/Tantra Philosophy (Mark Whitwell), and Ayurveda (Uma Inder).
Dance: Balinese and Traditional Indonesian, West African, hip hop, ecstatic, and Bollywood dance.
Music: Digeridu, Sufi Kwalli, African Drumming, DJ workshops, Kirtan, Tribal & Traditional Indonesian.
Dharma Fair - Eco‐friendly marketplace; massage, healing, health food, artisan clothing, spa and yoga products, busking, cds, and musical instruments.
