Beautifying Bali's Southern Coast

The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali Welcome Miss World 2009 and Miss Indonesia 2010.

The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali welcomed Miss World 2010, Kaiane Alderano of Gibraltar on Thursday, June 3, 2010.

On her visit she was accompanied by Miss Indonesia 2009, Karenina Sunny Halim, and the newly-crowned Miss Indonesia 2010, Asyifa Latief. This stunningly beautiful delegation to Bali also included the founding member of Miss Indonesia, Liliana Tanoesoedibjo, and chairwomen of Miss World Limited, Julia Morley, together with Miss World Events Director, Stephen Douglas Morley.

They were greeted by the Westin Resort's General Manager, Bipan Kapur.

The Miss World delegation were on Bali to showcase the island as the destination to host the Miss World Pageant in 2014.

The tour itinerary for the delegation included visits to the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park (GWK), John Hardy, Jenggala Ceramics and UC Silver.During their 3-day stay at the Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali the VIP guests were treated on the first night to a poolside dinner and Kecak performance, while a rijsttafel-styled dinner at the Resort's Temple Garden was held to farewell the delegation.

Bipan Kapur, General Manager of The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali, said: "The entire group left the island with a positive impression of the destination. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome all contestants of the Miss World pageant in the future and to showcase Bali to the world. I believe that the island is well and truly ready to host such a prestigious international event."
