Brisbane-based Strategic Airlines commenced international service between Perth, Western Australia and Bali on Saturday, June 12, 2010.
The inaugural flight on an Airbus A320 carried some 150 passengers and represents Strategic's first entry into international service.
The new service will operate three times each week.
Insisting their new service offers "more choice" to the traveling public, Damien Vasta of Strategic said: "We're incredibly proud to be able to offer this option to travelers and we remain firmly focused on returning a high level of service to the skies. We are providing a new choice, with an affordable, full service flight to Perth's favorite holiday destination. The new service has already been well received by travelers with many of our initial flights being fully booked."
