While Bastille Day is normally celebrated on July 14 year to commemorate the storming of the Bastille in 1789, this year's celebration of French national day will be held in Bali on Friday, July 16, 2010.

Open to both French Citizens and Francophiles of every national persuasion, the festivities begin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 16, 2010 in the garden of
Sector adjacent to the golf course at the
Grand Bali Beach Hotel. The organizers are promising a night to remember with a hot buffet, lucky draw and fireworks – all for only Rp. 150,000 per person (US$16.30).
