Bali Hoteliers Take to the Streets

As part of the Bali Hotels Association (BHA) Sport and Cultural Carnival 2010, Meliá Bali organized a 7 kilometer Run and Fun Walk on Saturday, September18, 2010. The multi-week carnival held among Bali's hotel industry members run from September until its closing in early December 2010.

More than 800 Bali hotel employees joined the seven-kilometer run and four-kilometer fun walk. Reflecting his resort's commitment to caring and working together as a family, Jim Boyles, General Manager of Meliá Bali opened the event in which 150 staff participated.

First, second and third place honors in the male category of the 7 kilometer run went to Jibril Taebe Nu from Discovery Kartika Plaza, Ketut Sugita and Ketut Suardana both from Holiday Inn Resort Baruna.

First, second and third 7 kilometer female winners were Ni Wayan Sriani from Ayana Resort, Ni Nyoman Suradi from Amandari and Komang Sugiani from Harris Resort Kuta.
