The Indonesian Golf Association (PGI) will host the Bali Junior Golf Tournament at the New Kuta Golf Pecatu course on Sunday, January 30, 2011.
Intended to stimulate interest in the game of golf among young people, the tournament is open to all amateur golfers under the age of 18 years.
Play commences on January 30, 2011, at 7:00 am with a shotgun start.
Play is open in two divisions for boys and girls broken down into the following age categories:
• Group A – 15 to 17 years
• Group B – 13 to 14 years
• Group C – 11 to 12 years
• Group D – 10 years and under
A winner and runner-up in each boy and girl age division will be awarded. Prizes will also be given to an overall winner, nearest to the line and nearest to the pin. Door prizes will also be distributed.
Cost of participation is Rp. 300,000 per player (US$32.60) and covers green fees and lunch.
