Visitors to Jalan Double Six on Kuta Beach in the days leading up to Christmas had a real chance to demonstrate their belief in Santa Claus by bungy-jumping with the man in red.
Beritabali.com and Kompas.com were on hand at the A. J. Hackett Bungy Jumping Platform to witness island visitors undertake tandem jumps with jolly old Saint Nicholas. Riding a lift to the top of 45-meter high platform where, after being fitted with a safety harness, they joined Santa on the giant leap of faith.
Patricia, on holiday in Bali from Denmark, told the press: "This was an enjoyable experience. I never thought I could bungy jump with Santa Claus."
A tandem jump with Santa cost Rp. 1,950,000 (US$216) or Rp. 990,000 (US$110) for those prepared to put on a Santa Suit and jump solo.
Reindeer, of course, jump free.
