Bali's well known artistic landmark – Pranoto’s Art Gallery has moved from its high street location in downtown Ubud to larger premises on Jalan Raya in Teges, on the way to Goa Gadja (just before the Duck man).
Run by the artistic couple of Pranoto and his Australian-born wife, Kerry Pendergrast, Pranoto’s Art Gallery is both an art gallery and a place of nurturing for aspiring artists in Bali.
In addition to its ever-changing gallery of Indonesian and Balinese art, Pranoto Art Gallery conducts Life Model Sessions every Wednesday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m until until 1:00 p.m.
Both experienced and beginning artists are welcome to attend these life drawing sessions incorporating live models. Operated on a non-profit basis, artists are asked to make a donation of Rp. 20,000 to help cover the cost of the professional model attending each session. [

If you’re in Ubud on Thursday, November 3, 2011, drop by the new
Pranoto Gallery for an informal opening party starting from 4:00 p.m. Kerry and Pranoto suggest coming before sunset to enjoy the rice field view and their current collection eclectic art.
A musical jam sessions is planned as part of the fun and those who’s like to play are encouraged to bring their instruments along.
