Preliminary domestic airline numbers broken down by major airport are now available.
Based I data supplied by the National Statistic Agency, Bali ranked third among Bali’s airport through the end of September for the number of domestic air passengers. The 2,366,800 domestic passengers flying into Bali January-September, Bali trailed Jakarta’s Soekarno-Hatta (12.975.500) and Surabaya’s Juanda (4292,200).
Nationwide domestic passengers are up 22.7% through the end of September with 38,248,700 passengers carried.
Projecting through the end of 2011, it appears that approximately 5.4 million total passengers will pass through
Bali’s Ngurah Rai Airport, with approximately 50% domestic air passengers and the remaining 50% traveling on International flights.
