As part of the 2002 Marine Festival the Darwin to Bali Yacht Race is set to start from Australia's Northern Territory Port of Darwin on Saturday, July 27th.
The race will end approximately 4 days later in the Port of Benoa, Bali.
Traditionally sailed between Australia and Ambon, Maluku, the race's destination was changed two years ago to Bali due to the deteriorating security situation in the Maluku's.
Some 40 yachts are expected to participate in this year's race.
