Bali's Petitenget Beach, north of Kuta, has been selected as the venue for an Asia Pacific Volleyball Tournament scheduled for August 22-25, 2002.
16 countries are expected to compete including teams from China, Singapore, New Zealand, and Brunei.
Bali is expected to make a strong showing in the beach-side event following strong performances in a recent national tournament held in Lampung, South Sumatra.
