Bali will host the “Safari Pestaraga International” – an international drug-free fitness and bodybuilding event on Sunday, October 21, 2012, at the Bali Agung Theatre of the Bali Safari and Marine Park in Gianyar, northeast of Bali’s capital of Denpasar.

The event will be conducted in accordance with the rules of the International Natural Bodybuilders Association (INBA) that mandate a drug-free approach to the development of a robust and healthy physique.

The competition schedule will be held in the Bali Agung Theatre at Taman Safari and Marine Park between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm during which an expected 400 competitors will vie for honors across 30 categories.

The event will close with an after-competition party at Taman Safari from 6:30pm – 9:30 pm.

Admission to the Taman Safari is US$ 39 per person with admission to the competition Rp. 100,000 (US$10.50).

“Pestarage” translates as “celebration of the physique” marking the Bali event as the inaugural year for the contest.

Important to note:

  • Registration is open on Saturday, October 20, 2102 from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm at the entrance to the Bali Safari and Marine Park.
  • Registration fee for first category is AUD$125 and includes the farewell dinner.
  • Registration fee for each additional category is AUD$35 per category.
  • Registration fee for Kids Fitness (Division Boys 6 -12) is AUD$35
Registration fee includes: Certificate, trophy, and 1 (one) day admission to the Safari Park and an entry ticket to the dinner party.

Accompanying family members wishing to attend the dinner party pay only Rp. 150,000 (US$15.80).

Admission for everyone into the Safari Park is $39.
