The Indonesian State News Agency Antara reports that President Susilo Bambang Yuhoyono has issued an invitation to Egyptian President Mohamed Morsy to participate in the Bali Democracy Forum to be held in Bali in December 2012.
The invitation was extended to the Egyptian leader during Yuhoyono’s recent visit to the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
According to the Indonesian government's special delegate for international relations, Teuku Faizasyah, "President Morsy is expected to attend the Bali Democracy Forum to learn about the democratic process in Indonesia."
"Egypt has openly praised Indonesia's success in the Aceh Province, and President Morsy thought the success was worth learning from," he said.
