Following a hiatus of five years, Garuda Indonesia Airlines will again begin serving Brisbane, Queensland, Australia in August 2013
Touted as party of the Indonesian flag carriers “Quantum Leap Strategy” – Garuda will fly Brisbane to Denpasar (Bali) six times each week.
Brisbane becomes the fourth Australian destination for Garuda, complementing existing service to Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
The new service will be flown by Boeing 737-800NG.
Outbound travel from Australia to Indonesia increased 20% in the first half of 2011 with Queensland a much-in-demand destination for Indonesian holidaymakers.
