16 Veteran players of Associazione Calcio Milan (AC Milan) took a brief holiday in Bali courtesy of the Westin Nusa Dua, Bali during visit to Indonesia to play a friendly in the nation’s capital of Jakarta.
Among the members of
AC Milan Glorie on hand for an informal press conference held in the
Temple Garden of the
Westin Nusa Dua on Friday, February 8, 2013, were veteran Daniele Massaro and legendary players, Andriy Shevcenko, Paolo Maldini, Franco Baresi, Serginho, Massimo Taibi, Alessandro Costacurta, Roque Junior, Massimo Oddo, Marcel Desailly and Hernan Crespo.
The players arrived in Bali on Wednesday, February 6 and stayed until the following Saturday before heading back to Jakarta for match play.
This is the second time
AC Milan has visited Bali and stayed at
The Westin.
On each visit they have met with the Bali press and members of the
“Milanisti” who showed up wearing the clubs colors and singing victory chants.
After their Bali interlude the players continued on to play an exhibition match with the Indonesian All Stars in Jakarta on Saturday, February 9, 2012.
AC Milan veteran Daniele Massar, now 52, said that the team was enjoying their time in Bali, escaping from the bitter cold Winter of Milan.
To stay in shape, the players engage in volleyball matches and sunbathed on the beach at Nusa Dua.
