Metro TV reports that the inauguration of Bali’s Governor and Deputy Governor for the period 2013-2018 will now take place on August 29, 2013.
After a narrow victory by only 966 votes and an unsuccessful formal challenge of the results to the Constitutional Court, Made Mangku Pastika and Ketut Sudikerta were declared the winners of Bali gubernatorial race.
Rp. 400 million (US$40,000) has been allocated to pay for the inauguration ceremony from the provincial budget. A relatively modest amount when compared to other provinces in Indonesia, the Bali inauguration is being billed as a relatively simple affair.
The venue for the ceremony is the main plenary hall of the Bali House of Representatives.
A total of 600 invitations are being distributed to invitees comprised of government officials and representatives of the private sector.
