To celebrate its 13th anniversary PT Supra Primatama Nusantara, more generally known as Biznet Networks, has launched Internet and Cable TV services in Bali.
Adi Kusma, President Director of Biznet Networks, speaking at the Bali launch party on Sunday, September 15, 2013, said that people in Bali can now enjoy max3 Internet + Cable TV services. “Broadband Internet with bonus High Definition quality Cable TV is the latest innovation made by Biznet Networks. We are the first company to present Cable TV service with HD quality in Bali,” he said.
With monthly fees starting from Rp 250,000, customers can get entertainment through the Ultra Fast Internet and digital Cable TV services that feature 81 channels (55 Standard Definition channels and 26 High Definition channels), including local TV channels.
Media Partners Asia (MPA-a TV research institute in Singapore) claims Indonesia is comprised of more than 60 million households, 40 million of which own a TV. That same data shows that only 2-3 million customers subscribe for pay TV service. That leaves some 37-38 million households still watching free to air (FTA) channels.
