Lauda Air - the Austrian Airline has temporarily suspended its once a week flight from Bangkok to Bali, severing the island's air link with Vienna, Austria.
Airline spokesmen are quick to point out that the suspension of service is scheduled to end on December 09th and the airline expects to resume its normal schedule on December 16, 2002.
The massive drop in Austrian holiday bookings to Bali were reportedly WHAT prompted the suspension of the service.
Meanwhile, an apparent increase in bookings to Thailand from Austria have caused Lauda Air to increase their flights from Vienna to Bangkok from six to eight times each week.
