Solutions for Life Week April 22-26, 2014 to Explore Environmental Sustainability for Baliís Tourism Industry

(3/2/2014) ecoSmart is hosting the first in what is hoped will be an annual event dedicated to finding sustainable solutions for Bali’s development.

To be held April 22 -26 2014 with a starting date to coincide with “Earth Day” – “Solutions for Life Week” features 5-days of initiatives, discussions collaboration and sharing to find sustainable solutions to Bali’s environmental challenges.

Workshop: “Plastic Solutions” moderated by Hayden Filler of Nevhouse and participation by Darren Kelso of Environpallet and Johan Yang of Viro.

Presentation: “Clear Oceans Campaign” presented & by Sam Tyers of ReallySavy.

April 24, 2014

Workshop: “Resources Efficiency in the Hospitality Industry – Saving Operational Costs for Hotels & Villas Operators” presented by the ecoSmart Green Team.

April 25, 2014

Workshop: “How to make your development project more sustainable?“ presented by Charlie Hearn of Inspiral Architects

Evening green party with live music and djs starting at 6:00 pm.

April 26, 2014

Discussion and presentation on “Wildlife Conservation: Opportunities & Challenges” presented by Dr. Bayu Wirayudah of the National Parks Foundation.

Discussion and presentation on “Greening Business - We Can have it all...Sustainable Profits with Social & Environmental Responsibility” presented by Norm vant Hoff - Sarinbuana Eco Lodge.
