(3/25/2007) The first 2007 gathering of the Bali Chapter of the world's oldest gourmet society - Chaîne des Rôtisseurs will be at the Amanusa Resort in Nusa Dua on Saturday, March 31, 2007.
Authentic Thai with a Twist
Limited to only 40 guests, a special Thai menu will be presented by the Resort's Executive Chef Craig Diss and Amanusa's Resident Thai Chef Anon Northong.
Diss has been in his current position with Amanusa for the past year, coming to Bali from the Amanpulo in the Philippines and before that at the Terrazzo Restaurant in Ubud.
In his native Australia, Diss worked in Sydney The Boathouse, Level Forty One and Tony Bison's Ampersand.
Anon Northong has led the Thai cooking team at the Amannusa for 2 years after training at the Amanpuri in Phuket. He has also worked in leading kitchens in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia.

Pla Tort Prik Gaeng - Whole Fried Grouper Topped with Dried Red Chili Sauce and Fresh Herbs
