(7/29/2011) In their continuing series of fine dining evenings, The St. Regis Bali Resort'a Chef Oscar Perez is again preparing outstanding fare accompanied by Peter Lehmann Wines, specially selected by the Resort’s 5-time Wine Spectator award-winner Harald Weismann.
The memorable dining experience commences at 7:00 p.m. with cocktails and canapés at King Cole Bar and continues with a sumptuous 6-course dinner in the Astor Ballroom at 8.00 p.m..
Peter Lehmann Wine
Built in 1979. The first vintage from the Peter Lehmann Winery was processed in 1980. In 1982, the winery was formally named Peter Lehmann Wines.
The Winery has used the expertise of its extremely talented chief winemaker, Andrew Wigan, and the produce of 185 independent grape growers have earned the winemaking team at Peter Lehmann Wines the accolade of “Baron of the Barossa.” The two most prominent labels produced by Peter Lehmann Wine are The Art Series and the Eight Songs Galleries.
Comprising a vibrant collection of grape varieties including Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Semillon, Chardonnay, Riesling and Chenin Blanc - The Barossa Art Series flows with a consistent quality and flavor.
A new and different style of Shiraz, the Eight Songs Label was inspired by the suite of eight paintings, hung on the walls of the Peter Lehmann Cellar Door, by Rod Schubert depicting the mental disintegration of England’s “Mad King” George III. These paintings were inspire by the 1993 Barossa Music Festival performance of Sir Peter Maxwell Davies’ tormented musical drama “Eight Songs for a Mad King”.
