Bali Domestic Arrivals on the Rise

Bali by the Numbers: Domestic Passengers Traffic Through Bali Airport Increase 15.41% January – April 2012

(6/10/2012) Data provided by the Central Statistic Bureau (BPS) shows that domestic passenger traffic through Bali’s Ngurah Rai Airport increased 15.41% for the period January – April 2012, as compared to the same period in 2011.

Domestic passengers at all Indonesian airports monitored by BPS for the period January – April 2012 recorded 17,146,400 passengers, up 5.7% from the 16,222,300 recorded during the first four months of 2011.

While estimates vary widely, domestic passengers may represent 50-55% of all arrivals to Bali.
