The four-day event promises to provide detailed information on MICE suppliers, located mostly in Indonesia. Together with 80-plus sellers representing domestic and global hospitality brands, travel agents, resorts, conventions, venue operators, 100-plus Corporate buyers from IMCTM’s banking partner and other decision makers and influencers representing top multinational companies in and across Indonesia, IMCTM will facilitate a one-to-one business session platform for its delegates under one roof. The event will create at least 10000 scheduled business sessions”
Indonesia’s economy is growing at over 6% annually and air travel in the country is increasing by 16%, recognized as a country with among the most stable records of growth by The World Bank and Asian Development Bank. Indonesia’s growth rate in the years ahead is predicted to rival that of Singapore and Hong Kong. Domestic tourist traffic is rapidly expanding with an estimated 245 million domestic trips to be taken in 2012 with US$ 18 billion in travel-related expenditures.
Indonesia is also expected to achieve a targeted 10 million in-bound tourists by 2014. Outbound players will benefit from a 15% increase in airline connectivity including additional frequencies by low-cost-carriers.
It is against this background the Indonesia MICE and corporate Travel Mart returns for its 6th edition offering a strategic platform for both domestic and overseas destinations, and travel and tourism suppliers to meet under one roof over 2 days of B2B sessions alongside a program of eisure activities planned for the delegates.
