Australian Dies in Lovina, North Bali

Australian Found Dead in North Bali Thought to Have Suffered from Epilepsy

(6/16/2013) A 70-year-old Australian, Don Brian James, has died near Lovina Beach in North Bali.

The State News Agency Antara quotes the chief of the Banjar Police Precinct, Nyoman Supardi, as saying: “The victim (James) is suspected to have suffered from epilepsy and that he failed to receive assistance during a seizure, causing him to die at his residence in the Lebah community at Kaliasem villagem Lovina on Thursday, June 13, 2013."

Police say there were no indications of foul play surrounding the man’s death, which remains under police investigation.
