Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort Introduces Open-Air Market Sunday Brunch

(10/21/2013) The intensely competitive Sunday brunch market in Bali is getting a fresh makeover at Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort with the introduction of “Market Brunch ” with the theme of Sip, Savor and Shop.

Intended to transform the traditional brunch concept, the Sheraton Sunday Brunch ia an open-air market of delicious food, handmade crafts and services from local farmers, artisans and vendors. Located on Kuta’s famed Beachwalk, “Market Brunch” is a chance for families and friends to savor and enjoy a Sunday out at Kuta Beach.

The Beachwalk Market Brunch boasts a large array of culinary choices with an option of Duval Leroy Brut Champagne, fine wines or handcrafted fruit and tea-inspired beverages.

“We’re delighted to re-introduce Sunday brunch Kuta-style,” said Dario Orsini, general manager of the Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort. “Perfect for the whole family to celebrate a beautiful Sunday afternoon, Market Brunch at Feast has something for everyone with a variety of delectable selections and to-go items in casual down-to-earth ambiance with live entertainment and kids’ corner and other fun activities for the entire family.”

The brunch runs each Sunday from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm with a variety of live stations and buffets emphasizing tapas and small bites so guests can sample a variety of Asian favorites. The menu changes each week in keeping with seasonal ingredients’ availability.

will feature retail stalls selling fresh produce, groceries and pre-made items to go – perfect for guests who want to explore Kuta Beach and Bali for the afternoon – as well as enjoy live entertainment provided by local bands and DJ’s.

Sunday Market Brunch is home to some 20 live stations and an extensive buffet. Typical offerings include artisanal cheeses and sliced meats; hand-picked fruits and vegetables; fresh-made sushi; Japanese Teppanyaki; Middle Eastern delicacies; seafood barbeque; eggs made-to-order and fresh pastries.

Sip Illy coffee accompanied by homemade gelato, freshly made breads and pies, and Bali’s own fantastic Pod Chocolate.

The Market Brunch is attractively priced at Rp. 270,000 (US$24) for adults and Rp. 135,000 (US$12) for children aged 4-12 years.

A selection of locally-crafted beers, fine wines and signature cocktails are available on a free-slow basis for an additional Rp. 200.000 (US$18) and free-flow Duval Leroy Brut Champagne and wines from Starwood Wines of the World selection at an additional RP. 450.000 (US$39).

All prices are quoted in Indonesia Rupiah and are subject to 21% local government tax and service charge.
